Our team completed the first stage of our project work with an audio-video conference with our partners from the “Tisa von der Schulenburg” gymnasium.
The conference was held on December 20th and we talked about human rights and their development throughout the decades, human rights organizations and breaking the human rights in Bulgaria and Germany at present. We started a discussion on restricting the freedom to travel in GDR and Bulgaria during the Cold war.
The next step in our work will be the students to meet up with ex-travel agents and with people who have been victims of the passport terror during the socialism.
After the success of Velislava Georgieva from 12th grade, who won the prize “Blogger of the year” on the program not long ago, we are even more motivated to work on the project.
